IU Athletics to Enhance Football Game-Day Experience with High-Tech Scoreboard

ndiana University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass announced today that a new state-of-the-art scoreboard is being installed at the South end of Memorial Stadium for the 2010 football season. IU’s new scoreboard will provide the most cutting-edge video technology of any scoreboard in the country and will be among the nation’s 10 largest college scoreboards.

Big Ten Conference Announces Distinguished Scholars for 2009-10

Following the conclusion of the 2009-10 academic year, the Big Ten Conference announced that 484 student-athletes have been selected as recipients of the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The list features student-athletes from every institution and 32 different sports who have earned a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year. Indiana had 42 student athletes named Distinguished Scholars.
