Chappell Nominated for Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®

Indiana senior quarterback Ben Chappell is a nominee for the 2010 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. Chappell is IU’s third straight nominee, following Austin Starr in 2008 and Jammie Kirlew in 2009. Kirlew was named to the prestigious 11-player team last season.

Chappell, Replogle and Turner to Represent IU at Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon

Indiana senior quarterback Ben Chappell, senior wide receiver Terrance Turner and senior linebacker Tyler Replogle will represent the Hoosiers at the 2010 Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.

Big Ten Conference Announces Distinguished Scholars for 2009-10

Following the conclusion of the 2009-10 academic year, the Big Ten Conference announced that 484 student-athletes have been selected as recipients of the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The list features student-athletes from every institution and 32 different sports who have earned a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher for the previous academic year. Indiana had 42 student athletes named Distinguished Scholars.
