Indiana announces Homecoming kick time

Indiana has announced that its Homecoming game against Arkansas State on Oct. 16 will kick off at noon ET. Indiana originally had Homecoming scheduled for Oct. 30 against Northwestern, but moved the celebration after a third home football game was added to the October slate. The Hoosiers have never faced Arkansas State. TV plans for Indiana-Arkansas State will be announced later.

IU-Arkansas State, Illinois Kick Times Announced

The Indiana football team will face Arkansas State and Illinois at noon ET on Oct. 16 and Oct. 23, respectively. IU welcomes ASU to Bloomington for Homecoming and travels to Champaign, Ill., to take on the Fighting Illini.

Stretching the playing field

I must confess mild surprise at how little commotion there was when it became clear a few days ago that the IHSA would listen to a proposal to double the prep playoff football field from 256 to 512 teams. Yet my own thoughts didnt immediately veer toward the predictable Oh no, here we go again lament of the traditionalist tribe.
