The Indiana University Department of Athletics announced that Don Fischer has been named Indiana Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association (NSSA). It marks the 24th time in Fischer’s 37 year-tenure as the `Voice of the Hoosiers’ that he has been named the state’s top sportscaster, and the 20th time by the NSSA.
