Approximately 75 members of the Bloomington Boys & Girls Club spent the afternoon with the Indiana football team at Memorial Stadium on Thursday.
Hoosier defensive ends Jammie Kirlew and Greg Middleton are on the Watch List for the 2009 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year Award, the Ted Hendricks Foundation announced Thursday. Kirlew, one of six finalists for the honor in 2008, and Middleton, one of eight finalists for the award in 2007, are two of 30 preseason candidates. The two are also one of only a pair of teammates from the same university on the list, joining Oklahoma ends Jeremy Beal and Auston English.
